WHEN WOULD CHINA STOP BACK STABBING US..!

(Sunil Negi, President, Uttarakhand Journalists Forum)
The recent skirmishes of Indian Army with the Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA) of China at Doka La, the Sikkim, Bhutan n Tibet tri junction for second time after 2009 n subsequent destruction of two bunkers of Indian Army and several other earlier arbitrary claims and incursions in Indian territories in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh n Uttarakhand compounded with number of space violations by entering Indian territories through helicopters, has now amply proved that the expansionist China which back stabbed India during the shortstint but a heavy war of 1962 is again trying to provoke India for a future war, wrongly thinking that the largest democracy of the world would submit n succumb to its pressures. The timing of the PLA’s action on Indian border adjoining Sikkim n arbitrarily withholding the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra when Indian prime minister Narendra Modi is holding talks with the US President Donald Trump n seeking deliveries of good number of hi tech defence survillence drones possibly to keep eye on China n Pakistan’s anti Indian mis adventures, unambiguosly speaks of the fact that China through such higly provocative actions not only wanted to derail such important talks indirectly but also want to demoralise Indian leadership to bow down to its regular pressure tactics. The whole world knows that expansionist China is trying hard to isolate India in the world political scenerio by way of blocking its way in the security council by restricting its every endeavour to gain the UNSC membership n has also been incessantly creating bottlenecks in the way of India gaining entry to the Nucleur Suppliers Group under the guise of India being a non signatory to the NPT. The sole purpose of China is not only to politically isolate n demoralise India on every international diplomatic front but also to make its arch traditional rival Pakistan happy. China has been doing everything that goes n works against India’s interest. It has built the Karakoram highway from China to Pakistan several decades ago n had strengthened the latter by way of supplying large quantity of defence equipments n nucleur armaments like Uranium to built its heavy nucleur plants to be used against india as and when the need arises. After the deterioration of diplomatic relations with the United States of America due to Pakistan’s aiding n abetting terrorism, globally n after the dreadful 26/ 11 attack that sent shock waves across the globe, Pakistan turned towards China for defence n economic support and China being America n India’s traditional foe readily enhanced the massive aid to Pakistan. The higly over ambitious China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) worth 40 million US dollars readied in Pakistan occupied Kashmir(POK) by China is in a way a China Army n Defence Base to be used against India in the coming future to militarily aid n support Pakistan. Under CPEC’s transport infrastructural development scheme, China has announced a whopping 10.63 billion US dollars worth of investment. Under this CPEC project China has stationed hundreds of thousands of Chinese population in POK’ s Gilgit n Baltistan, primarily an indian territory. The basic aim of China is to coerce n disturb India by its ill concieved anti india notions and designs and create obstacle in its every endeavour in the global political scenerio. Recently during Dalai lama’s visit to one of Monastries’ in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang district China has unnecesarily raised a great hue n cry at the international level against his visit n termed it an anti China endeavour claiming Tawang to be Chinese territory. In the recent past China had also violated Indian air space by entering the air space in the Uttarakhand territory creating panic in the Indian Air Force n the local populace of the Indo China border near Garhwal Uttarakhand. Though there had been good number of mutual visits of Indian Prime Ministers, diplomats n National Security Advisors of both the countries to China and vice versa, the Indo China relations had shockingly, always been under strain. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s China visit n Chinese President Xi Xinping’s Indian visits have been exhibited as too succesful in diplomatic circles but if we see things on the ground the reality is different, that of total distrust n animosity.
