"Keep Walking Don't Stop" DRONAGIRI TREK OF THE YEAR-2017
“Keep Walking Don’t Stop” DRONAGIRI TREK OF THE YEAR-2017
By Mayank Arya Pen memories ….
Lazy, Pampered, Delicate and all related synonyms was me but one fine day I came out of my comfort zone.
Clueless about what directions to follow in life i plunged into depression. Looking for support, advice and suggestions is what I always wanted but failed to get any . When all hell broke loose a brainstorm got me to my feets and as a result I am infront of you all trying to do whatever I can with best of my Potential.
Why do I talk about all of it with image’s of trekking I did , picture’s that show broken rough route’s ?? We’ll there is a Connection.
I always knew I can never Trek as I am not that sort of a Traveller and when a dear friend forced and completely convinced me I agreed to try out this activity which rest of the world calls adventurous and when I completed it I felt the co relation between my life and journey I covered during this 13 km long distance.
Running out of breath when I was almost breathless struggling to walk in high altitudes to reach my destination I almost decided to quit. All my fellow companions were way ahead and I realised there’s no one around. Soon after walking a few steps i found two of my dear mate’s standing upwards and waiting for me.
Mayank there’s no rule with trekking , there’s no competition. Walk as per your convenience , it’s your health and personal endurance that’ll help you reach the Final spot. This First sign of co relation came fromChandrashekhar S Chauhan with whom I completed Dronagri Trek.
When Chandrasekhar walked a little further my
fatigue increased and the moment I again was about to loose hope, I was pushed from behind and when I turned around it was Manoj Istwal Ji speaking loud “keep walking don’t stop” it’s just a matter of a few more Kilometers. His motivation actually brought energy to my dry going spritit to complete this Trek. If he wasn’t around I definitely would have lossen up my shoe laces and given up. It’s because of these two friends I completed this Trek and bring back memories from this trip , if it wasn’t for the two of them the picture’s I clicked and shared wouldn’t be possible.
After the Motivational push and support by my friends I later realised that walking gradually I solely completed a few kilometres with no one around for sometime.
Trekking is an experience on should always try . It is teaches you a lot like it taught me. There’s not much of a difference between Life & Trekking both eventually bring you to similar experiences. During this course of walking I realised that there’s no one you should depend upon, it’s your energy, strength and endurance that helps you reach your destination so does life. We need friends, coaches and guides to train and motivate us that’s what my friends did and because of whoom I completed this tough looking Trek and equally we need mentor’s in life to help us grow . But one shouldn’t depend on any one because it’s an individual’s will and effort we might find people motivating us but in the end it’s you who has to walk the journey all by you and that’s exactly how life is lived.
This inspiring and energetic journey will always be remembered in a special part of my heart. The experiences I gained will enhance me be a better person in life. As a young traveller and buddying writer my suggestion to all the youngsters I know , don’t be scared of the maze looking struggles life offers it’ll definitely be tough but walking through these rough patches and route when you achieve what you desire every pain fades and the experiences you develop during this course of time makes you a stronger person in Life.
This Trek did a lot to me and I hope the little what I felt helps a few to come out of the darkness and their comforts zone and fight their challenge’s.
