FICCI LADIES ORGANISATION (FLO) PRELIMINARY MEETING FOR THE LAUNCH OF 14TH FLO CHAPTER IN UTTARAKHAND HELD IN DEHRADUN..!

FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), the women business wing of the Federation of Indian chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI)   is widening its reach to various regions across the nation and creating a niche as a pan- India organization for women empowerment. FLO headquartered in New Delhi has 13 chapters set-up across India, representing over 5000 women entrepreneurs and professionals.

“As part of its endeavour FLO to widen its reach  for women empowerment FLO organised preliminary meeting here today in Dehradun  for launch of it’s 14th chapter in the state  Uttarakhand . FLO currently has chapters in  Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow- Kanpur, Ludhiana, Mumbai, North East and Pune with its head office in Delhi.” Said Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram, President, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) .
 “FLO is now looking at making an addition to its chapters with the 14th chapter in Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand. A young State formed in 2000, Uttarakhand has emerged as a significant destination for investments in manufacturing industry, tourism and education.” Said MS Bharat Ram.
A FLO Delegation also met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today morning . The delegation included MS Vinita Bimbhet, Past President, FLO, Ms Jayanti Dalmia, Treasurer and Ms Poonam Mahajan , Joint Treasurer, Flo and Ms Shilpi Arora, Member Governing council and Ms Rashmi Sarita , Executive director FLO were present on the occasion  at the preliminary meet.
The Flo President Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram presented a souvenir to the Chief Minister and apprised him about an all women car rally with message of Beti Bachao Beti Padao to be organised by FLO in Dehradun. The CM Rawat agreed to flag off the rally to be organised soon.   
“With over 34 years of experience, FLO has been promoting entrepreneurship and professional excellence in women through various workshops, seminars, conferences, talks, training and capacity building programmes etc. to encourage and facilitate inclusion of women’s talents, skills, experience and energies across all sectors and levels of economic activity.” Said Ms. Bharat Ram.
“FLO would like to make an addition to its Chapters is by launching the 14th chapter in Uttarakhand. The proposed Chapter will aim at enhancing the capabilities of women through appropriate awareness, training and development programmes that enables women to contribute towards India’s socio economic growth by fulfilling their individual potential.” Added Ms Bharat Ram.
“FLO endeavors to promote women entrepreneurs and professionals and assist women entrepreneurs to grow them professionally in the State and the launch of this Chapter will help bring existing entrepreneurs, potentials entrepreneurs and other professionals under the FLO umbrella. Eminent women of Dehradun and other parts of Uttarakhand participated in the preliminary meeting” said Ms Bharat Ram.
