Division within UPA makes Kovind’s victory hundred percent sure…

The election of the President of India has taken an extremely curious turn particularly after the surprise declaration of the name of Bihar Governor n two time Rajya Sabha MP n Dalit Ram Nath Kovind by BJP. The clever master stroke of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has undoubtedly send the entire anti BJP 19 opposition parties into tizzy with few of them like Bahujan Samaj Party, Samajvadi Party n Shiv Sena standing apart, creating division within the opposition by supporting the BJP’s Dalit candidate. The Bihar chief minister too is in a fix in terms of giving support but sources indicate that his preference stands in favour of the BJP’s Dalit candidate whom he not only praised for having been an impartial governer but had also boasted of his good relations with him while he was the governor of Bihar.
Though Nitish Kumar has also declared his intentions of meeting the JDU leader Sharad Yadav n discuss the possibility of his party’s support to the joint UPA candidate supposedly the Dalit n former Speaker Lok Sabha Meira Kumar but in all probability it seems that Nitish’s first priority would be Kovind only. Meanwhile the Congress party that has faced tremendous drubbings in the recently held elections in the five states including Delhi n UP is keenly desirous of establishing its own separate political identity by way of fielding its own candidates viz either Meira Kumar or Sushil Shinde who both are Dalits n want to mobilise the entire anti BJP secular opposition as a sequel to the future opposition unity to counter Modi’s increasing charisma n BJP’s political strong hold, nationally. A meeting is scheduled this evening. Sources say that the morale of BJP n NDA is too high in view of the change in stand in favour of the BJP candidate Kovind by the parties like Shiv Sena, BSP, SP n Nitish Kumar. The Biju Janata Dal n AIADMK/ DMK had already pledged their support to Kovind. The BJP has thus been successful to elicit 5 lac 92 thousand votes enough to win the election. On the other hand the UPA is trying hard to to ensure that its constituents solidly stand behind them to give a credible rebuff to the BJP candidate. While the presidential contest in case the UPA puts its canddate in the fray is going to be quite interesting, the prime minister of India Narendra Modi is too confident about Ram Nath Kovind’s victory as the 15th President of India n is therefore busy participating in Yogic exercises in the International Yoga day.
